Our Town Rangiora was re-established in October 2009 and are now working hard to create and develop existing promotions for all local Rangiora businesses and the greater community. 

There are around 48,000 residents in Rangiora living within our catchment and a huge number of visitors are coming into our region all the time. 

The growth in business numbers including national chains coming to this town, shows opportunities many outside the region see in our future.   

As a diverse region with business representing a variety of market sectors the region is wonderfully vibrant.  We want to be able to promote and work with all these sectors through the Our Town Rangiora Promotions Association. 

As a group Our Town Rangiora works on promotions and events during the year and sets itself up to promote Rangiora as a great place to live, work and play. We are working on future events and will always welcome new ideas.  

It is important, and is intended, that our activities support the town centre and its retailers along with all businesses within the Rangiora greater district including Southbrook.  It is our objective to see Rangiora as a prosperous, accessible and vibrant town with a strong sense of community. 

FUNDING - The Waimakariri District Council provides Our Town Rangiora with a Capacity Funding Grant towards its operations.  Additional funding is sourced through various funding grants to run its major events and promotions throughout the year
